Ballet Folklorico La Paloma - Internaciónal
Ballet Folklorico La Paloma is Tucson's Oldest Origianl and Traditional Folk Dance group.
They were chosen as ambassadors to represent Arizona at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
The group will be performing again at the 2012 Olympics in London.
They are havinh serveral of fundraisers in efforts to buy new costumes and fix others. these type of costumes are very hard to find since the traditional colors and styles can only be found in Mexico.
They need all the help they can get to raise money and therefore they have been performing at various locations for donations.
they are having a fundraser/performance on August 28, 2010 at the TCC - Leo Rich Theather starting at 6:00 p.m.
The tickets are only $13.00 for adults and children 5 - 12yrs, $6.50.
